History of LS Alexandria
This article is dedicated to all of the customers who cared enough to ask about our humble origins. Truly, we began as a tafe business project in an attempt for a couple of friends interested in locksmithing to try out the art and see if we can make a living off of it. It turned into a permanent, full-time business that we dropped out of tafe for. Some of us went to vocational schools, and others simply worked under the tutelage of master locksmiths in the area at hardware stores until we were all experienced enough to actually start working for a living.
That was 20 years ago, and to this day we are the most highly rated locksmith service in Alexandria. We’ve accomplished this by creating a business built to last and by defining the ethical policies that form the foundation of our business. To us, nothing is more important than sticking to our origins of roots, and letting those things determine everything we do without holding us back in the past. This article will tell you a little bit more about our values and what we believe is important when we deal with our customers and associates.
Integrity. Nothing is more important than integrity. We believe in conducting ourselves with integrity and everything that we do to show that we are an honest, well-meaning business. After all, not all businesses are capable of being robotic corporations making decisions callously and without regard for the feelings or outcomes of customers and their situations. We still call ourselves a small business, and we don’t believe that will ever change. This allows us to make our own agenda and to decide what is important to us and the direction of our business. To us, nothing is more important than treating our customers with respect, kindness, and empathy. Few things in this world are more stressful than being locked out of your car, home, or business because you slipped up and forgot to take your keys. This is a situation which requires a little bit of TLC as well as expertise in the field of locksmithing. Our technicians are not there just to get the job done, they are there to ensure customers that the job will get done correctly, and that they will be back in their home, office, or car as soon as possible.
Making a good impression on customers is the best thing any business could ever do, if only for profit. Keeping customers in your good graces encourages them to speak kindly about your business in public and private to their colleagues, friends, and complete strangers in many cases, such as on the Internet on discussion forums. Of course, this is not our primary motivation, but we were just giving an example.
